Happy Friday! I’m a little behind with things since I spent most of the week making sure the website move over went well. Such a relief to finally be on this new site.
I hope you guys had a good week! I was feeling a little more like myself after our wedding last weekend. It was so nice to get out, even for just a few hours with just Ed!
As for this week, it flew by! It seems like we had something every day, from appointments to lunch dates. Which made the week go by quickly! I can’t believe we’re already to Memorial Day weekend. To me, Memorial Day always signified the start of summer. I know summer technically started a few days ago, but the long weekend always made it seem more real.
What kind of foods do you associate with Memorial Day? I love to think about the typical cook out foods – hotdogs, hamburgers, popsicles, watermelon, fruit salad, beer, brats, etc. So many of my favorites! And then, I associate pools, lakes, oceans – any body of water.
In the past, I’d make a menu of a bunch of things to make. I just don’t think that’s feasible this year, but we are going to a cook out where I know there will be lots of delicious food! I wanted to share some food inspiration for YOU in case you’re looking for some tasty meal and snack ideas. Whether you’re entertaining or the guest!
Here are some of my favorite “outdoor” BLT recipes.

I missed her, hopefully it will get easier 🙂 Ed’s parents were in town so luckily they watched her.
