Ed and I checked out Oven and Shaker at the recommendation of a friend and we were glad we did! They are the known pizza joint in Portland!

They have a great variety of pizzas on their menu, including Maple Pig, Fennel Sausage, Goat Cheese and much more. We went for a late afternoon snack and split the delicious kale salad with grapefruit, which really tied the flavors together with pecorino and dried breadsticks.  Then we split the Caulifilower pizza, which had garlic, olives, peppers, onion, pecorino, mozzarella and salami bits. It was tasty and I liked the different colored cauliflowers, though I do feel that it is a bit overpriced for the size of the pizza! The dough was garlicky and delicious.

We ate our pizza very quickly and enjoyed all the flavors. I would come back here and try the yummy cocktails next time!
