Barcelona’s is a place I’ve heard about since opening, since it’s owned by the same owners of Alino pizza. It’s in a large open building, next to the antique furniture place. Like Alinos, it’s communal seating. You order, get your number, and find a spot to sit and they bring it out to you.

They have a menu of 4-5 burgers with a few specials. The burgers aren’t all that fancy looking. I like that they keep the toppings to 3-4. Otherwise it can get overwhelming and you lose the taste of the burger. I went with the burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes and a secret sauce. The melted cheese is a beautiful site!

The burger was simple yet juicy and delicious. I’m sure their secret sauce has something to do with it. I’m also a sucker for caramelized onions on burgers. You get a side included – fries, sweet potato fries, salad, Mac n cheese, etc. I’m glad they don’t up charge for a side salad, but next time I’ve gotta try the fries.

I love the open seating. They don’t have an outdoor patio, so the beer garden is just a place for taps to pour the beer, not really a hang out spot. I’ll definitely be back for another burger though. I love the “secret sauce!”
