Hey friends!
I couldn’t be happier that it’s Friday. This week kinda kicked my butt. In a good way. People are coming off the New Year with bold goals which means a lot of motivated new clients. I hope it stays that way!
I’m way behind on going through my emails, subscriptions and nutrition reading. Just the site of my inbox itself is stressing me out. After an awesome 13 hour day yesterday with 8 clients, I’m ready to just netflix it all weekend after today’s clients. We’re supposed to see some snow here in Charlotte, and the threat of shutting down is already looming. Netflix, wine and Tater, I’m comin’ for ya.
I figured it would be fun to do a little recap of 2016 through you guys’ favorite posts! I feel that over the past year, my blog has honed in on 3 topics:
Food and Recipes
Nutrition
Running
and a little bit of lifestyle and bucket list posts here and there.
So today, I’m rounding up my (and your) favorites from these topics.
Favorite Recipe Posts
I had a lot of fun in the kitchen in 2016, creating some recipes for Bucket List Tummy and entering other recipe contests. I can’t wait to continue the fun this year.
Wild Blueberry Sweet Potato Bread
Turmeric Salmon Zucchini Patties
No Bake Peanut Butter Cherry Trail Mix Bites
Chocolate Mint Berry Quinoa Bowl
Chocolate Coconut Cream Pudding
Chewy Pumpkin Hemp Granola Bars
Favorite Nutrition Posts
Nutrition posts are some of my favorite to write and research, which is why I’m kicking off the Wellness Wednesday topics this year. My hope is that you guys enjoy these and can always look back on these when you have a question about something.

What would you like to see more of on the blog?
Best thing you’ve eaten all week?
I honestly really loved your post on the different milks. I love the type of posts that compare different products and explains the pros/cons of each.
The top nutrition posts are definitely some of my favorites and resonate with me!
You shared so many great posts last year! Isn’t that so odd to say last year? I still keep saying “next year” when talking about things when I actually mean this year. I’ll get used to it in like November ready to play the same game all over again, haha.
The best thing I’ve eaten.. hmm.. probably triple chocolate coconut milk ice cream. Heaaaaaaaaven!
I know – it’s so weird considering it was like last week! ha. And that ice cream sounds wonderful!
I really love your healthy living/eating posts becuase of your background. Of course I also love your recipe posts as well! Cheers to a successful 2017!
Your nutrition posts have been so so helpful for me this year, because I am in the dark about most details of nutrition besides very general knowledge. I also loved seeing all your recipes, but I still need to try some of them! 🙂 I’ve been eyeing that sweet potato bread for a while.
I’m so glad Emily and thank you so much for reading. The sweet potato bread is one of my favorites 🙂
I wrote out my grocery/meal plan list the other night and your sweet potato turkey burgers were at the top. Can’t wait for those babies. I’m loving your blog just as its going, lady. You have a real focused sense of what you are about and what you like to talk about – even though that is still diverse in of itself. Can’t wait for more from all these three categories.
Thanks for being such a loyal reader, Cora! <3 <3
SO happy to have come across your blog this year! All the best in 2017!
Thanks so much for all of your support, Melissa!
These are all my favorite posts of yours! I still need to make those sweet potato turkey burgers…I don’t know how I haven’t yet!
Thanks Sara! They are so good, but I may be biased 🙂
