Gingerbread Crockpot Oatmeal

– 1-2 tbsp coconut oil or butter, (optional) – 1 ½ cups steel cut oats – 6 cups water – 2 cups milk of choice – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 2 tsp cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon ginger – 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg – 1 teaspoon cloves – 1/2 teaspoon allspice – 2 tbsp molasses or maple syrup

Cook: 4 hours

Ingredients

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker, stirring well to mix the flavors around.

Step 2

Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.

Step 3

Serve and enjoy!
