Ingredients

  • 16 oz ground bison
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 4 cheese slices, for topping
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. Thaw ground bison if necessary overnight.
  2. Set air fryer temperature to 400 degrees.
  3. In a medium to large bowl, season meat and mix other ingredients in with your hand.
  4. Form into 4-5 medium sized patties.
  5. Place burgers inside air fryer but do not stack them or overlap. Set timer to 10 minutes.
  6. Check that burgers are done and internal temperature reaches 145 (medium rare)-160 degrees (medium) and juices are clear, not red.

Notes

-         If you want to add cheese and toast buns, you can place the assembled burgers on buns back in the air fryer for another minute or two. You don’t need to turn the air fryer back on.
- I didn’t need to flip my burger, but you may need to read directions for your specific air fryer.
