Nutrition Beliefs and Values

Sarah seeks to help families take away the stress that comes with nutrition. Starting with baby led weaning recipes, to feeding picky toddlers, she walks you through it all.

From debunking nutrition myths to sharing easy tips for meals and recipes, she keeps it real in her kitchen. With three young kids, she lives what she preaches – make meals fun and enjoyable.

And don’t stress if kids don’t always eat what you want them to! The most important thing is sitting down together as a family.

Sarah works with clients to help balance the stress of motherhood and meal prep, help improve your relationship with food through an intuitive eating perspective, and help women stay fueled for their sport by helping you understand how much to eat.

She lives in northern Virginia, though I see clients locally and virtually all over the country.

For those who can’t or prefer not to work 1-1 with a professional, Sarah created an Ebook about making peace with food, hunger and fullness.

5 Fun Things About Sarah

  • Sarah was a college athlete. She grew up playing baseball on the boys’ high school team, and switched to softball for college.
  • Sarah is a self-taught cook. Growing up, she could make a mean grilled cheese, but really got into cooking before graduate school. That catapulted after learning more about food science and getting her Master’s degree.
  • Sarah has run several full and half marathons. Fun fact – she qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2018 but couldn’t run it because her first daughter was born weeks before!
  • Sarah’s absolute favorite dessert is ice cream cake! It was something I’d look forward to on each birthday – and now we do it for my kids’ birthdays.
  • Sarah loves being outside and cooking with her kids. Yes, the kitchen gets messy but memories are made! Sarah can say, from ample experience, that kids are more likely to try anything they play a role in making.

The majority of my recipes can be made in under an hour, and most can be made in under 30 minutes because we are all busy. As a busy mom of 3 and an entrepreneur, I want my kitchen time to be efficient!
