Ingredients

  • 2 large naval oranges, cut in half
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Cinnamon, for dusting

Honey Whipped Feta

  • 1 8- oz block feta cheese
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to broil.
  2. Cut your oranges in half.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the diced ginger and honey and stir. If you want an easier consistency for spreading, you can microwave it in 5 second increments.
  4. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut over the flesh of the orange in a “+” shape, and around the outer edge to separate the flesh from the skin. While you may need to do this again after baking, it should help make the orange loosen easier.
  5. Use a spatula, knife or brush to spread the honey ginger mixture over the orange flesh, letting it soak between the flesh membranes as well.
  6. Place the oranges in a casserole baking pan or sheet pan with skin side on the bottom.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for extra flavor.
  8. Broil for 4-6 minutes, or until the oranges feel warm and the outer edges start to brown.
  9. While the orange are broiling, make your whipped feta dip. Combine feta cheese, honey and Greek yogurt in a blender and blend. Drizzle extra honey on top for serving.
  10. Remove baked oranges from oven and let cool. Using a spoon
or sharp knife, remove small pieces of the flesh from the segment and dip into whipped feta honey mixture, or drizzle feta dip on top. Enjoy!
