Easy Blueberry Baby Food Recipe

Blueberry baby puree is ready in minutes, and a healthy starter food for introducing solids to babies or for baby led weaning. This blueberry baby food recipe combines blueberries, 1/2 banana, flax seeds and your liquid of choice and offers some healthy fats for baby's growing brain.

Ingredients  

  • 1.5 cups blueberries
  • ¾ cup breastmilk or liquid of choice
  • ½ medium banana
  • 2 tsp flaxseed

Instructions 

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender, immersion blender or food processor. To make it thicker or creamier, add less liquid, more ice, or greek yogurt.

Notes

I usually classify 2 ounces as a serving for baby. This recipe makes about 2 cups overall.
You can freeze extras in an ice cube tray to use as smoothie cubes!
