Ingredients

  • 1 cup prunes, de-pitted and softened*
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp raspberries

Instructions

  1. Soften prunes in warm water for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Add prunes, water, chia seeds and raspberries to blender or food processor and blend for 2 minutes, until prune puree forms.
  3. Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze into ice cube trays to use for smoothies.

Notes

*Softening the prunes is not completely necessary if you don't have time or forget. It just makes the blending quicker and more efficient.
Instead of water, you could also use breastmilk or formula for more nutrition and calories.
