These salmon rice balls are a wonderful recipe for baby led weaning and toddlers, and an easy way to introduce salmon! Made with only 5 ingredients and ready in 10 minutes, this recipe deserves a permanent spot on your weekly meal plan!
Microwave your sweetpotato for 5-6 minutes, until soft. Scoop out flesh and set skin aside.
In a medium bowl, mix mashed sweetpotato, cooked rice, canned salmon, and garlic powder together. I like using my hands to do so, or using gloves.
Using a cookie scooper, scoop out “meatball size” from mixture and place on a flat service or clean piece of parchment paper (I got about 12 meatballs).
Enjoy! Serve with soy sauce, avocado, etc.
Notes
If you want your salmon meatballs crispier or browned, you can broil for a few minutes before enjoying.
