As a busy parent, you’re probably in need of a quick snack for the kids – something to entertain them while you cook dinner, or something to throw at them after school.
This cottage cheese dip with pumpkin is your solution!
Another fun seasonal one are our popular pumpkin cottage cheese pancakes. Just know that if you aren’t a cottage cheese fun, you can’t taste it in this blended protein dip.
Why You’ll Love This Pumpkin Cottage Cheese Dip
- High protein – Everyone around me is always so focused on protein! As a sports dietitian, yes protein is important, and if you have trouble getting protein in with snacks, this healthy snack dip (or no bake dessert option!) is like pressing the easy button. You get 9 grams of protein per serving. Cottage cheese recipes are a great way to incorporate protein into your diet.
- Ready in minutes– No oven or baking required. Just a nice food processor or Vitamix – something to blend that cottage cheese up seamlessly!
- Great for everyone – This pumpkin cheesecake dip is the star of the show with toddlers, kids, teens and adults. One for all the age groups!
- Blended cottage cheese dip – If the cottage cheese flavor or curds are not your favorite, you don’t have to worry about that with a blended cottage cheese dip. This pumpkin and cottage cheese dip tastes like pumpkin cheesecake in a bowl. The best healthy no bake dessert or snack for after school.

What You’ll Need
Here are the ingredients for this healthy pumpkin dip recipe.
- cottage cheese – I prefer the higher fat content!
- canned pumpkin puree
- honey or maple syrup – I’ve made this dip several times and I always prefer honey!
- pumpkin pie spice
- cinnamon
- vanilla extract

If you want a stronger pumpkin flavor, you can add more canned pumpkin or pumpkin pie spice.
When testing my cottage cheese recipes, I aim for the flavors to hide the “cottage cheese flavor” and not be bland, but your taste buds may prefer more flavor!
Add in Extra Nutrition
Sometimes, I”ll add in flax seeds, chia seeds or hemp seeds for a dose of extra nutrition! They don’t change the taste at all, but add healthy fats, protein, fiber, iron, calcium, and more!
How to Make No Bake Cottage Cheese Pumpkin Dip
We’re following the same method as we did for the vanilla cottage cheese fruit dip and chocolate cottage cheese pudding.
Why mess with something that works?
This pumpkin cottage cheese dip is the seasonal variation that you’ll turn to all fall – when pumpkin is on your mind.

Start by adding all of your ingredients to a high speed food processor.
Blend for 1-2 minutes, until the cottage cheese starts to get a little fluffier and the curds start to dissipate.

Once it reaches your desired consistency, transfer the the dip to a small bowl, ramekin or your serving vehicle of choice!
I love to place it on a board with fun, crunchy things to dip into it. Or, even fresh, oven-baked banana pumpkin chocolate chip bread slices.
Smart Mom Tip
Just leave this out after school without saying anything and watch how the kids gravitate towards it. Add fun dippers, like fruit, veggies, crackers and pretzels. We also make this alot for our fire pit nights with friends and neighbors.
How to Store Cottage Cheese Fruit Dip
Store any leftover dip refrigerated in a tupperware or airtight container for up to three days.
The best “ready in minutes” fancy snack you’ll find. Make sure you share if you make it.
