Popsicles are a must on a hot summer day, and these mango cherry popsicles are about to become your new favorite summer snack!
Popsicles, like smoothies, are one of my nutrition booster tricks. As a Registered Dietitian, I’m always very conscious of getting nutrients into my kids where I can – and popsicles are a prime opportunity.
We always include fruits/veggies with meals to normalize them and encourage intake. And these mango and cherry popsicles are such a fun vehicle to offer fruits and hydration. Popsicles are even great for babies!

While I usually love offering these homemade breastmilk popsicles, I’ll sometimes add some frozen fruit or veggies to them to add more flavor.
Like our kiwi strawberry popsicles or banana strawberry popsicles, these cherry mango popsicles are cold, flavorful and delicious, and kids love any sort of ice pops! They are more on the fruity side, while our creamy coconut popsicles are creamier.
I also added blueberries to this recipe just because I love cherries and blueberries together (can you tell by these blueberry cherry overnight oats or cherry puree!?), but you can omit them if you’d like.

The Dietitian’s Secret Tip
“A refreshing, cool treat with a boost of protein is always a plus in my book. Kids love popsicles, and this is a way to sneak extra nutrients and protein in.”
Why You’ll Love Cherry Mango Popsicles
- Only 4 ingredients – These mango cherry popsicles use simple ingredients and have no added sweeteners.
- Easy to make – Just mix the ingredients in a blender and pour into your popsicle mold. Then wait 4-6 hours for these babies to set and freeze! The perfect summer snack to cool down!
- Can involve the kids – Need a way to entertain the kids this summer? Make these mango cherry popsicles – such a fun and easy food activity for toddlers! Plus, the silicone mold is easy to work with.
- Great addition to a snack plate – Whether you need after-school or back-to-school snacks, mango cherry popsicles are a great addition to pair with other things. Plus, by adding other healthy foods to the plate, the kids are more likely to try them since they already like the popsicles – a great way to introduce toddlers to veggies.

Only 4 Ingredients
I prefer frozen fruit, but fresh also works. In terms of milk, I prefer using soy or dairy milk for the extra protein! Here’s a breakdown of the different types of milk. Full-fat coconut milk is another option.

Optional- you could always sweeten these popsicles with a number of different options, like a touch of fruit juice, honey, maple syrup, agave syrup, or any sweetener of your choice.
How to Make Mango Cherry Swirl Popsicles
As you guessed, it is so simple to make mango cherry popsicles – just add your ingredients for each layer to a high-speed blender and blend.
First, blend frozen mango with your choice of milk and blend to create your mango layer.

Then, pour that into a bowl and repeat for the cherry mixture with frozen cherries and milk for the cherry layer.
Finally, repeat for the blueberry layer with blueberries and milk.
Then, pour each layer into the popsicle molds and stick in the freezer for 4-6 hours!

You can store in the freezer for up to 3 months!
