If youโ€™re looking for a fun and healthy sweet treat as the weather warms up, these strawberry kiwi popsicles are the perfect answer.

What I love most about strawberry popsicles with greek yogurt is the extra protein (and probiotic!) content that you normally donโ€™t get in a fruit popsicle.

Protein helps to fill kids up and keep them from incessant snacking.

You can really mix any fruit in these strawberry kiwi yogurt popsicles, but I happen to like the strawberry kiwi pairing.

I think kiwi is so underrated โ€“ it pairs well with so many tropical and refreshing fruits โ€“ have you tried our favorite tropical mango kiwi smoothie?!

The sweet and sour flavors blend perfectly. If you like your greek yogurt popsicle recipe a little sweeter (it can be tart!), use vanilla yogurt or add maple syrup, honey or agave.

We tend to rotate between these, our heartier coconut popsicles or refreshing mango cherry popsicles.

How to Make Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles

Youโ€™ll blend the strawberries and kiwi in two different batches.

You could blend everything together if you choose to save time, but the colors would just blend together rather than layer.

First, blend the strawberries, chia seeds, yogurt and water and pour the strawberry yogurt popsicle mixture into the popsicle molds, about halfway.

Next, blend the kiwi with greek yogurt, chia seeds and water to form the kiwi popsicle blend.

Then, layer that above the strawberry yogurt popsicle layer in your popsicle molds.

With the silicone popsicle molds I used (see below for tips), these made 4-6 medium popsicles. For babies, I recommend using smaller molds, like these.

Once you fill your molds, put them in the freezer for 3-4 hours and then enjoy!

These can be served to babies and toddlers, and are perfect for getting extra nutrition in during the hot summer months.

Quick Tips

Here are some tips that I recommend for the best outcome.

  • I used these silicone popsicle molds. For babies and those that are smaller, I prefer these molds.
  • I recommend using frozen strawberries. They seem to blend up creamier and smoother than fresh! However, if you use fresh fruit, you can just add some ice cubes.
  • Full-fat plain yogurt is preferred for babies and toddlers. This is because extra fat is important for growing brains!
  • If plain greek yogurt is too tart, you can try adding a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, and/or 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract if you donโ€™t want added sugars.
  • If you have leftover kiwi puree for baby when doing baby led weaning, you can use that to layer in these kiwi popsicles.
  • With older kids, you could add melted chocolate and sprinkles on top if you wanted to make them extra colorful and fun.
