Hi friends,
I hope you had a great weekend. I wanted to follow up on last week’s running and foodie gift guide with a new mom’s gift guide! I know I have some readers who are new moms and/or are pregnant, so I hope this appeals to you! Perhaps, it can give you some inspiration and ideas for yourself or someone you may know.
These have been some of my favorite things and/or things that are on my “want” list!
1. Nursing Cover
Nursing covers that double as carseat and stroller covers are ideal! I love this brand and they have lots of cute colors and patterns.
2. Slippers
A nice and cozy pair of slippers is essential! In pregnancy, your feet are swelling and are hurting, so get something cozy and comfortable for lounging around the house. Even now, when I’m home and playing with Cam or breastfeeding, I like the warm comfy nature of a good pair of slippers. I have these Sketchers Slippers, but I also think these and these are super cute.
3. Breastfeeding Stuff
You could do a cute little nursing package for a mom friend or mom-to-be. Ideas of what to include: Lansinoh bags for frozen stored milk, nipple cream, nursing bras, hands-free pumping bras, a cute pumping bag, and/or lavender essential oil. And if you’re a mamma who travels often or knows someone who does, a Milk Stork order could be great. Also, this breastfeeding sweatshirt is super cute and stylish!
4. Amazon Prime Membership
Amazon Prime is an absolute necessity for motherhood. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve placed midnight orders or thought of something on a whim and ordered it to have it delivered the next day or 2 days later. It’s amazing and totally worth the annual fee.
5. Baby Carrier
This is essential for us right now because Camryn is on the move and doesn’t sit still. She’s board with her activity center so when I need to do things, I basically have to wear her. I’ve always loved the Ergo 360 and how portable and stable it is. The wraps never worked for us, but a lot of people swear by the Boba Wrap.
6. One Sentence Journal
I’ve been big on gratitude lately, and these journals make it easy to write down what you’re grateful for.
7. Jewelry
I have purchased a necklace like this for myself, as well as one for my mom and mother-in-law. They are simple but easy to wear casually. I put Camryn’s name on one.
8. Roomba
Anything to make our lives easier! The roomba has been one of the BEST gifts we received because I have no time (or energy or desire) to vacuum. Now Camryn crawling everywhere, I need to make sure there’s no hair/little things/dust on the floor that she will put in her mouth. It’s an investment but it’s worth it, especially if you’re the nit picky type!
If you’re looking for baby products, I would encourage you to check out this post with my favorite baby essentials!

Roomba is good anyway. it sure saves your back and time. Reasonable list. Thank you
I have a roomba on my wish list! I am so over vacuuming with our old, heavy vacuum and I feel like it doesnt even do a very good job. Great ideas!
I hope you get one!!
I think I would hug and kiss someone if they bought me a roomba hahaha! Great ideas! Someone bought me a big water bottle after I had aubrey which was essential for my nursing thirst!
It’s definitely an investment but it makes a world of difference!
